In fact, PVC zinc burn inhibitor is a kind of PVC heat stabilizer developed by our company specifically for environmental calcium-zinc stabilizer, which is also called PVC auxiliary stabilizer. Because of its outstanding ability to inhibit zinc burning and excellent overall performance. Therefore, we named it "Zinc Burning Inhibitor". In recent years, as global environmental awareness has increased, calcium and zinc heat stabilizers have become the mainstream of environmentally friendly heat stabilizers. However, the fatty acid salt of zinc (zinc soap) is easy to react with the hydrogen chloride (HCl) removed from PVC resin to produce zinc chloride (ZnCl2), and under heated conditions, ZnCl2 is prone to blackening, which is what we usually call zinc burning (zinc combustion). So, how to inhibit zinc burning? Both practice and theory prove that the H in -OH of polyhydroxy compounds can form ligands (also called complexes) with the Cl in ZnCl2. Due to the spatial structure of the polyhydroxy compound and the electron cloud density of H, usually only three and more hydroxyl groups are present to produce coordination. Likewise, compounds with a multiple of three hydroxyl groups (e.g., 6 or 9) have a corresponding multiple of coordination unless they are completely isotropic, and the coordinated ZnCl2 compound does not change color even after being heated, thus achieving the purpose of inhibiting zinc burning. In other words, our zinc burn inhibitor products are the above-mentioned polyhydroxy compounds.

The auxiliary stabilizers play an extremely important role in the formulation of calcium zinc stabilizers, which can determine the performance, quality, cost, and environmental grade of calcium zinc stabilizers. Therefore, based on this premise, we developed the zinc burning inhibitor, which is a green, non-toxic and non-hazardous auxiliary stabilizer for PVC. It not only has the significant advantages of superb zinc burn inhibition, excellent initial coloring, good compatibility, and low cost of use. And because its composition does not contain mono-pentaerythritol, so it can really solve the precipitation problem in the formulation due to the use of mono-pentaerythritol. In addition, it does not produce any harmful gas, sewage discharge, etc. in the process of producing it, so it will not cause any harm to the natural environment and human body.
